Shadow Student - General

OMC is committed to the development and training of healthcare workers and will provide related educational opportunities, provided that these do not impair its ability to effectively deliver safe, high quality patient care. Students must be requesting a shadowing experience to fulfill observation requirements for admission to an academic or professional healthcare program in order to participate in educational activities at OMC.

Students must complete an “Immunization Summary” and a “Tuberculosis Screening Questionnaire,” or their equivalents, after beginning an OMC-sponsored educational experience.

Students must complete student orientation and sign off on the training which includes a confidentiality statement and an acknowledgement of HIPAA training.

Along with your application, please include the following documents. Please note that if these documents are not submitted with your application, your application will be declined.

• Official transcript or other documentation verifying completion of your first year of an academic program or documentation confirming completion of an undergraduate degree
• Documentation from the academic program identifying the admission requirement.
