Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to support a growing organization in Texas within the Energy/Natural Resources sector. This long-term contract position is suited for a senior-level candidate who can introduce structure, strengthen delivery practices, and provide clear visibility across complex business initiatives. The ideal candidate brings a practical transformation mindset, works effectively across operations, business teams, IT, and leadership, and can turn partially defined efforts into successfully completed outcomes.

Responsibilities:
• Establish practical project governance, delivery standards, and reporting practices that improve consistency across a developing project environment.
• Evaluate active and proposed initiatives, identify dependencies and risks, and help leadership determine realistic sequencing and priorities.
• Partner with operational teams, business stakeholders, and technical resources to align objectives, scope, timelines, and ownership.
• Drive initiatives from planning through execution by coordinating contributors, resolving blockers, and maintaining momentum toward delivery.
• Create executive-level updates that clearly communicate status, resource constraints, critical decisions, and overall portfolio health.
• Challenge assumptions and escalate concerns when priorities, capacity, or expectations are not aligned with delivery realities.
• Support business transformation efforts tied to operational workflows, field maintenance processes, acquisitions, and enterprise improvement programs.
• Contribute to project documentation and solution planning, including business requirements, configuration considerations, integration touchpoints, and related delivery artifacts.• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager or Program Manager leading cross-functional business transformation initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to build project management discipline within organizations that are maturing or evolving their delivery processes.
• Strong background in stakeholder management, with the confidence to work across business functions, IT teams, and executive leadership.
• Experience assessing project environments, introducing governance, and improving visibility into priorities, risks, and execution progress.
• Ability to connect incomplete workstreams, manage interdependencies, and guide initiatives through to completion.
• Familiarity with business requirements documentation, configuration management, and coordinating technical efforts involving APIs or platform-based solutions.
• Knowledge of environments related to energy, industrial operations, asset-intensive businesses, or field-service organizations is preferred.
• Exposure to CRM or enterprise platforms such as Salesforce is advantageous.
