Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat residents in a warm, welcoming manner to create a positive first impression
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them efficiently to the kitchen staff
- Deliver food and drinks in a timely manner while ensuring order accuracy
- Anticipate resident needs, respond to requests, and resolve any concerns promptly
- Maintain thorough knowledge of the menu, including daily specials, ingredients, and allergens
- Keep dining areas clean, organized, and properly set between seatings
Requirements:
- Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-first attitude
- Ability to multitask and stay composed in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Must be able to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods of time
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must meet Michigan state age requirements for serving alcohol where applicable
