Building Engineer

The Building Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and ensuring the operational efficiency of an industrial facility. Acting primarily as a solo engineer within a small team, this role demands hands-on expertise in equipment inspection, system troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. The Building Engineer will utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track maintenance activities and coordinate with vendors to uphold safety and security standards. Occasional on-call duties are expected to address emergency repairs promptly.

Responsibilities

• Perform facility maintenance and equipment inspections
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical system issues
• Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime
• Respond to emergency repair requests as needed
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized services
• Maintain accurate documentation using CMMS
• Monitor building operations and provide technical support
• Must be a US Citizen
• Must be able to pass federal background check
