We are seeking a Civil Engineer Project Manager to lead heavy civil infrastructure projects. You will oversee construction from bid to completion, focusing on bridges, roadways, water systems, and wastewater facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Oversight: Manage schedule, budget, quality, and safety compliance for infrastructure projects.
- Financial Control: Track project costs, manage cash flow, and approve subcontractor payments.
- Team Leadership: Direct field superintendents, project engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Client Relations: Serve as primary contact for municipal, state (DOT), and private clients.
- Contract Management: Negotiate subcontracts, manage change orders, and resolve scope disputes.
- Technical Review: Interpret civil engineering drawings, structural plans, and technical specifications.
- Permitting & Compliance: Ensure full alignment with environmental, EPA, and DOT regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of project management experience in heavy civil construction preferred.
- Project Expertise: Documented success managing bridge, highway, water, or wastewater utility projects.
