Crane Operator - Material Handling Installations

Travel Position | Nationwide Projects | Competitive Pay & Benefits

Fletchline is seeking experienced Crane Operators to support the installation of conveyor systems, racking systems, and other material handling equipment at customer facilities throughout the United States.

This position involves operating IC35, IC80, and IC200 carry deck cranes to perform equipment placement, rigging, and lifting activities associated with material handling system installations. When not actively operating a crane, operators are expected to work alongside installation crews to complete project objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate Broderson IC35, IC80, and IC200 carry deck cranes.
  • Perform equipment loading, unloading, and placement activities.
  • Read and understand load charts, lift plans, and rigging requirements.
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks.
  • Assist with rigging and material handling operations.
  • Install conveyor systems, pallet racking, mezzanines, and related material handling equipment.
  • Follow OSHA, customer, and company safety requirements.
  • Travel nationwide to support customer projects.

Qualifications

  • Experience operating carry deck cranes, rough terrain cranes, or similar lifting equipment.
  • Experience in industrial construction, equipment installation, millwright work, rigging, or material handling systems preferred.
  • Ability to safely perform lifting operations in active construction and industrial environments.
  • Ability to read and understand load charts and lifting capacities.
  • Strong safety record and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively.

Certification Opportunities

NCCCO certification is preferred but not required.

Fletchline is willing to sponsor certification for qualified candidates with relevant crane, rigging, installation, or heavy equipment experience. Selected candidates will be required to complete company-sponsored training and certification requirements and commit to continued employment following certification through a Training Commitment Agreement.
