Schedule: Hybrid – Onsite Tuesdays & Wednesdays
Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $25/hour
Contract: 5 months with potential to extend or convert

The Fountain Group is currently hiring Retail Operations Associates for a prominent client in the retail industry. This is a great opportunity for candidates with experience in retail, customer service, data entry, or administrative support who are interested in gaining experience within a corporate retail environment.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of work experience
• Experience in one or more of the following areas:
• • Retail or store operations
  • Merchandising
  • Customer service
  • Data entry
  • Administrative or office support
• Basic Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to add/delete rows and columns, enter information, and make basic updates to spreadsheets
• Ability and willingness to learn additional Excel functions, including VLOOKUP
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and follow-up skills
• Comfortable communicating with vendors and internal teams by phone and email
• Ability to learn new processes and manage multiple tasks
• Degree is not required

Excel Assessment: Candidates selected for an interview will be required to complete a basic Excel assessment before the interview is scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to retail merchandising teams
• Enter, review, update, and track purchase order information
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate merchandise, order, and vendor information
• Create, update, and maintain Excel spreadsheets and tracking reports
• Communicate with vendors regarding purchase orders, shipments, allocations, and general questions
• Follow up on late shipments and outstanding purchase order information
• Assist with resolving order, shipment, and vendor discrepancies
• Organize reports, files, merchandise samples, and departmental documentation
• Assist with vendor appointments and scheduling
• Track merchandise samples and help maintain organized sample materials
• Provide additional administrative and operational support as needed

Direct corporate merchandising experience is not required. Candidates who have a solid work history, basic Excel knowledge, strong attention to detail, and the ability to learn new processes are encouraged to apply.
