CNC Lathe Programmer / Machinist

We’re looking for an experienced CNC Lathe Programmer/Machinist who enjoys programming, setup, and making precision components.

For over 35 years, Jemms-Cascade has designed and manufactured specialty nutrunner attachments used around the world. Unlike many machine shops, our engineering and manufacturing teams work together under one roof, giving machinists the opportunity to solve challenging problemsnot just run production parts.

Schedule

First Shift

Monday–Friday

7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Overtime available.

What You’ll Do

• Program, setup, and operate CNC lathes
• Produce precision machined components from blueprint to finished part
• Work with engineering to solve machining challenges
• Select tooling, fixtures, and machining strategies
• Make process improvements to reduce cycle times and improve quality
• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment

We’re Looking For Someone Who Has

-2+ years of CNC lathe experience

-Programming experience (Fanuc or Okuma Osp Preferred)

-Strong blueprint reading skills

-Ability to independently setup and prove out jobs

Bonus Points If You Have

• Eurotech experience with Conversational Programming
• Okuma experience using OSP IGF Programming
• Gear cutting or hobbing experience
• Live tooling / Y-axis experience
• Multi-axis machining experience
