Position Details
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: 13 weeks+ (possible temp to hire)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 12:30 PM–9 PM
- Weekends: Rotating weekends
- Setting: Inpatient hospital
- Hospital: 131-bed facility, approximately 60–70 active beds
- Order Entry: Epic
- Automation: Pyxis
Responsibilities
- Perform inpatient pharmacist duties
- Review and verify medication orders
- Support safe and accurate medication distribution
- Work collaboratively with the pharmacy and hospital teams
- Provide second-shift coverage and rotating weekend support
Requirements
- Active Louisiana Pharmacist license
- Previous inpatient hospital pharmacy experience required
- Pyxis experience preferred; training available
- Epic experience preferred; training available
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
