Electrical Engineer
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Dallas. This role is ideal for a an Engineer with a strong background in building systems design.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical design for building projects, including power distribution, lighting, electrical rooms, equipment layouts, and building systems.
- Perform electrical load calculations for generators, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, panelboards, VFDs, feeders, and branch circuits.
- Prepare electrical drawings, specifications, reports, and coordinated design solutions.
- Support project development and maintain strong client relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience with an A/E consulting firm.
- Strong building systems design experience, particularly with:
- Power distribution
- Lighting
- Fire alarm
- Security systems
- Telecommunications
- AutoCAD and Revit experience preferred.
