Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules based on customer demand and plant capacity.
Coordinate with production, purchasing, maintenance, and customer service to ensure materials and resources are available.
Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to account for downtime, material shortages, or changing priorities.
Maintain work orders, inventory transactions, BOMs, and production data within an ERP/MRP system.
Analyze production metrics, inventory levels, and capacity to identify opportunities for improved efficiency.
Create reports using Excel to support production planning and operational decision-making.
Participate in daily production meetings and collaborate across departments to keep operations running smoothly.
Qualifications
1–3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with exposure to production planning, scheduling, materials, production control, or supply chain.
Experience using an ERP/MRP system such as SAP, Epicor, Oracle, JD Edwards, Infor, IFS, or similar.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis preferred).
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Experience supporting production schedules, material planning, inventory control, or manufacturing operations is highly preferred.
