Chipton-Ross is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator for a contract opportunity in Miami, OK.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)
- All employees must be able to read and follow instructions both written and oral
- Strong attention to detail
- General warehouse experience.
- Knowledge of excel and ERP systems to maneuver through to do transactions.
- Able to work independently and possess problem solving abilities.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Strong verbal/written communication skills; ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Flexibility/willingness to adapt to operational needs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced controlled environment with additional overtime as required
- Must have Excel experience.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work safely following all safety requirements.
- Receiving, examining, sorting, arranging, counting, storing, picking, and packing items for storage or ship in accordance with established SOP procedures and customer requirements.
- Cycle counting of raw materials used in production process
- Maneuvers picking cart or powered industrial truck to various locations throughout the facility to locate materials and fulfill orders.
- Prepares accurate documentation requirements for packing and shipping of hazardous chemicals.
- Practices good housekeeping and keeps inventory neat, clean, and orderly.
- Verifies accurate storage conditions of products and notifies Supervisor of any inventory issues that may arise such as Can’t Find, Expired Product, Breakage, and Out-Of-Stocks.
- Assist other team members, as needed, to ensure customer satisfaction maintain collaborative relationships and teamwork.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Certification of Forklift license is a must.
- Experience with operating a powered industrial truck-Forklifts, LPG and electric, stock picker, and racking/turret trucks.
- Ability to stand and move about including reaching, bending, stooping, grasping, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motion
- Ability to use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and understand chemical hygiene, including labels and SDS (Safety Data Sheets)
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand.
- Lifts, carries, pulls, and pushes up to 40-70 pounds frequently and 100 pounds occasionally with or without assistance.
- Specific PPE is required, including gloves, hair & beard net, safety glasses with no makeup/jewelry, and the like
- 50% office work/ 50% warehouse inventory position.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
- Accredited High school diploma or equivalent required.
WORK HOURS
- Full-Time- Monday- Friday 07:00am-03:30pm
- Ability to work in a fast-paced controlled environment with additional overtime as required

- Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
