Machine Assistant – 3rd Shift

Pay:$21.03 per hour
Location:Onsite in Springfield, MO
Schedule:Sunday–Thursday, 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.

Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and detail-orientedMachine Assistantto support operations in a full-line manufacturing facility. In this role, you may assist with various positions throughout the facility based on your experience and business needs.

The ideal candidate has reliable attendance, follows processes carefully, works well with others, and is committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with machine setup, calibration, and operation.
  • Monitor production quality to ensure products meet specifications and standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting using hand tools.
  • Record production data, downtime, and maintenance information in computer systems.
  • Communicate with team members and supervisors to resolve issues and meet production goals.
  • Follow work instructions, safety procedures, and established processes.
  • Support timely production and delivery of quality products.
  • Learn, understand, and assist with manufacturing processes.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Qualifications
  • Reliable and consistent attendance.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow instructions and established processes.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Two to three years of consistent work experience.
  • Previous full-line manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic manufacturing math.
  • Ability to work in a three-shift manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work overtime of up to four hours before or after a scheduled shift, for up to 12 hours per day and/or on weekends.
  • Ability to work in a hot and humid, non-climate-controlled environment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
  • Ability to navigate stairs and lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Additional Information
  • Steel-toe, composite-toe, or approved safety shoes are required for the site tour and while working.
