Duration:12 Months Contract
Pay:$22–$25/hour on W2
Shift:Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM + 4 additional hours during the week
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Manufacturing Operator to support continuous membrane manufacturing operations in a 24/7 facility. The role will operate manufacturing equipment, perform in-process testing, verify materials and equipment, maintain clean work areas, and support production, maintenance, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Perform basic analytical testing, measurements, and documentation.
- Identify equipment issues and assist with corrective actions.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of manufacturing areas.
- Follow FDA, OSHA, EPA, DOT, DNR, and site safety requirements.
- Support supervisors, managers, maintenance, and other manufacturing teams.
- Operate forklifts/hand pallet trucks and basic hand tools after training.
- Accurately follow written procedures and communicate process issues.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED, or HSED required.
- 2–3 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude, basic math, and strong attention to detail.
- Basic Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/sit for extended periods.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow safety/PPE requirements.
- Pre-employment physical required.
