Job Title: Signal Integrity Engineer
Job Description
The Signal Integrity Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of high-speed, complex hardware designs for next-generation automotive electronic control units (ECUs). This position focuses on analyzing and mitigating signal degradation issues such as noise, crosstalk, and reflections to reduce costly delays, prevent field failures, and improve overall product quality. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize design processes, support semiconductor and connectivity strategies, and help drive innovation in central compute, autonomous capabilities, and advanced in-vehicle electronics. This is a hybrid role that combines on-site collaboration with flexible remote work, contributing directly to the development and approval of production ECU designs.

Work Environment
This role operates in a hybrid work environment, with an expectation to report on-site at a technical center in Warren, MI or Sunnyvale, CA several times per week, complemented by remote work as business needs allow. You will work within a dynamic ECU electrical team focused on cutting-edge in-vehicle electronics, including central compute, body and zone controllers, multi-view cameras, PCIe, and advanced digital and analog interfaces. The environment emphasizes collaboration across hardware, PCB layout, mechanical, systems, and software teams, using industry-standard simulation tools (such as HyperLynx, HFSS, CST, ADS) and lab equipment including oscilloscopes, VNAs, TDR instruments, and protocol analyzers. The culture values innovation, continuous improvement, and rigorous engineering practices to meet demanding specifications and testing requirements from early hardware through production. The setting is a professional technical facility designed to support detailed design work, laboratory testing, and cross-functional collaboration on next-generation automotive systems.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
