NEMT DRIVER – NON-EMERGENCY MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION

Location: Charlottesville, Virginia
Pay: $850 per week
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Work Hours: 5:00 AM–5:00 PM
Payment: Paid weekly

Marathon RVA Transportation is hiring dependable, professional, compassionate, and safety-focused drivers in the Charlottesville, Virginia area to join our Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) team.

Our drivers safely transport ambulatory and wheelchair passengers to and from medical appointments, dialysis treatments, rehabilitation centers, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities.

Driver Responsibilities:

• Safely transport ambulatory and wheelchair passengers
• Assist passengers entering and exiting the vehicle when needed
• Properly secure wheelchairs and passenger restraints
• Arrive on time for all scheduled pickups and appointments
• Keep the assigned vehicle clean and presentable
• Communicate professionally with passengers, families, healthcare facilities, and dispatch
• Follow all company safety and transportation procedures
• Treat every passenger with patience, dignity, and respect

Driver Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license
• Good driving record
• Must pass a background screening
• Must pass a drug screening
• Must be dependable and punctual
• Comfortable assisting elderly passengers and individuals with disabilities
• Able to safely assist with wheelchair transportation
• Professional appearance and attitude
• NEMT or professional driving experience is a plus

Compensation & Schedule:

• $850 per week
• Paid weekly
• Monday through Friday
• 5:00 AM–5:00 PM

Training may be provided to qualified candidates, including wheelchair securement and passenger safety procedures.
