Diesel Technician

With a dedicated fleet of company-owned assets and W2 drivers, we specialize in waste transportation from local transfer stations to landfills. We operate a fleet of over 600 tractors and 900 trailers, including top-tier models from Kenworth, Freightliner, Mack, and Western Star. Our trucks are powered by reliable Cummins X15, MP-8, and DD-13 engines, ensuring performance and efficiency across all operations. With over 25 terminals across the Southeast, Midwest, and West Coast, Atomic Transport is rapidly expanding, and we’re looking for passionate individuals to grow with us. We’re currently seeking a skilled A Tech with Welding experience to join our team. What we Offer:

• Pay: $30-$35per hour depending on experience.
• Weekly Pay, plus time and a half for OT.
• Paid Holidays, Vacation, and Paid orientation.

Responsibilities:

• Extensive background knowledge in wiring diagnostics.
• Effectively diagnose exhaust after-treatment systems.
• Ability to use diagnostic software to include Cummins Insite and quick servers, Diagnostic-Link, PTT, Allison and Bendix systems.
• Perform minor and major truck and trailer repairs.
• Perform roadside service calls.
• Prioritize and diagnose problems and plan repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of each repair performed.
• Follow shop safety procedures.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Willing to share your repair skills with other technicians.

Job requirements:

• Must Have welding experience
• Have a valid driver’s license.
• Strong technical skills, problem solving abilities, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Pass pre-employment screening (drug test and background check)
• Have your own set of basic hand tools (specialty and larger tools will be provided).
• Class A CDL preferred not required
