Job Description

Job Description
  • Inspect and configure MIDS-JTRS and MIDS programs for compliance with current revisions and quality standards.
  • Inspect electronic assemblies, circuit cards, wiring, components, and hardware using drawings, schematics, specifications, and process documentation.
  • Perform conformal coating, solder, mechanical, and workmanship inspections in accordance with IPC and J-Standard requirements.
  • Identify, document, and track defects; perform post-rework and repair inspections to verify corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to resolve technical issues and clarify Engineering Change Orders.
  • Maintain accuracy and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while working independently and with cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • 3+ years of quality inspection experience with complex circuit card assemblies.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Proficiency with inspection tools such as microscopes, calipers, and gauges.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Soldering or solder inspection experience.
  • Technical training in electronics manufacturing.
  • IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification.
  • Mechanical measurement experience.
