Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and dependableAssociateto join our team. This position combinesinside sales, customer service, order processing, invoicing, and store restocking.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working with contractors, homeowners, and walk-in customers, has strong attention to detail, and can manage multiple responsibilities throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with selecting flooring products, includinghardwood, LVP, carpet, trim, flooring accessories, and finishing products.
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with product questions, pricing, availability, and orders.
- Process customer purchases and preparesales orders, invoices, and quotesaccurately.
- Enter orders into the company's computer/POS system and ensure customer information and product quantities are correct.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure customer orders are pulled and prepared correctly.
- Follow up with customers regarding orders, special requests, product availability, and deliveries.
- Provide knowledgeable and professional customer service to contractors, builders, designers, and homeowners.
- Maintain organized product displays and samples throughout the showroom.
- Restock showroom and store shelves throughout the dayand ensure products are properly displayed and labeled.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate low-stock items to management.
- Keep the sales area, showroom, and customer-facing areas clean and organized.
- Assist with receiving, organizing, and displaying samples and merchandise when needed.
- Handle customer concerns professionally and work toward resolving issues quickly.
- Work closely with management and warehouse personnel to ensure smooth daily store operations.
- Perform additional sales, customer service, and store duties as needed.
PTO and Sick Days:
- 7 Sick Days from Day 1.
- 14 Vacation Days (PTO) ( 7 days After 6 Months, 14 days after 12 Months)
- PAID ONCE ON THE 5TH OF EVERY MONTH DIRECT DEPOSIT
- Start Pay $3250 (Gross Pay) / Raise after 3 Month Evaluation
