Bartender

Bartender- Our bartenders are the heart of our Latin American inspired cocktail and beverage program as well as upholding our service standards to our bar top patrons. Ideal candidate has experience bartending in a craft cocktail setting with a focus on agave based beverages and the drive to grow their knowledge and skills. Bartenders will also occasionally need to produce basic espresso beverages. Midday and PM shifts available full or part time.

• Minimum 1 year experience in fine dining bartending or similar setting
• ABC certified or able to complete certification within 30 days of hire
• Agave based spirit knowledge
• Wine knowledge, knowledge of Latin American wines a plus
• Some barista experience a plus
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours and lift up to 50lbs
• Hourly DOE + Service Charge + Tips

Tantsimo is a Latin American farm-to-table caf and restaurant in Sylvan Park. We offer a rotating seasonal menu blending Middle Tennessee’s best produce and proteins with authentic Latin American cuisine, an all-Latin American wine program, dedicated espresso program, thoughtful agave list, and Latin inspired cocktail menu.

Our Restaurant operates dinner service from: 4pm-9pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday; 4-10pm Friday and Saturday; Brunch 10am-2pm Saturday and Sunday. We are committed to both the guest and employee experience. Our ideal candidate thrives in a team setting, has a passion for hospitality, and the desire to grow their knowledge. While our positions can be divided into Front of House and Back of House, the guest experience is a shared responsibility for everyone who works in our house. All members of the house are a team and should expect to collaborate duties as such.
