About the Role:
Opex Edge LLC is looking for a driven and experienced Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Fort Wayne, IN area. This is your opportunity to lead a skilled maintenance crew, keep our production lines running at peak performance, and make a real impact on the shop floor every day.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of maintenance technicians across manufacturing operations
- Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment failures
- Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and spare parts inventory
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and improve reliability
- Train, mentor, and evaluate maintenance staff performance
Requirements:
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- 2+ years in a supervisory or lead maintenance role
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) preferably SAP
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) principles
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
