Material Handler – 1st Shift
Pay: $20.00/hour
Schedule: 1st Shift | Mon-Fri 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
The Opportunity
We are hiring a Scrap Handler / Material Handler for a 1st-shift opportunity. This position is ideal for someone with solid forklift experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial or manufacturing environment.
Approximately 90% of the position will involve operating a forklift, primarily unloading scrap materials and incoming trucks.
What You'll Do
- Operate a forklift throughout the majority of the shift
- Unload scrap materials and other incoming truckloads
- Move and organize materials throughout the facility
- Transport materials to designated storage or production areas
- Assist with general material-handling and scrap-handling duties as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all company safety procedures while operating equipment
What We're Looking For
- Previous forklift experience required
- Good work history/tenure is required
- Material handling, warehouse, manufacturing, or scrap-handling experience preferred
- Comfortable operating a forklift for the majority of the workday
- Ability to work safely around trucks, equipment, and industrial materials
- Dependable and able to work independently as well as part of a team

- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Starting Pay: $20.00/hour
- Primarily forklift/material-handling work
- Approximately 90% forklift operation
