ASSEMBLER (PA2025)

Location: Westfield, IN Onsite
Pay Rate:$20.21 - $21.65/hr

Schedule:6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Hours: 40 hours/week

Position Overview

We are seeking an Operator I to support the production of high-quality medical devices within a manufacturing cell. This position performs assembly, repair, and testing operations on medical device assemblies while following standardized procedures, quality requirements, and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly, repair, and testing of medical device assemblies, including pacemakers, ICDs, leads, and related components.
• Handle and maneuver small components and parts with attention to detail.
• Follow standardized procedures, work instructions, and verbal directions.
• Maintain accurate traveler, production, and quality documentation to ensure part traceability.
• Communicate production issues, ideas, and solutions to manufacturing management.
• Follow safety procedures and utilize required safety equipment.
• Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
• Support Lean Manufacturing principles and cell performance goals.
• Utilize electronic data collection systems and computer software.
• Prioritize work based on production requirements and job sequencing.
• Support QMS, EMS, FDA, and other regulatory requirements.
• Work independently and make sound decisions with minimal supervision.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Manufacturing, production, assembly, or medical device experience preferred.
• Ability to work with small components.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written procedures.
• Ability to follow verbal instructions.
• Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing is a plus.
• Ability to use computer systems and electronic data collection systems.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Westfield, IN on 1st shift.
