Manufacturing Engineer

HiFyve is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer in the Manufacturing industry

Salary: $95K - $115K/yr

Shift: Day Shift

Location: Excelsior Springs, MO

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Direct accountability for fixtures, equipment evaluation, hand tools, and time studies required for the manufacture of assemblies and end products

Evaluate fixtures, equipment, and hand tools to support current and future manufacturing needs

Conduct time studies to support manufacturing efficiency and production processes

Oversee the plant ergonomics program

Assist with plant Health and Safety initiatives

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing operations

Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes and production efficiency

Support continuous improvement initiatives related to manufacturing processes, equipment, ergonomics, and safety

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Understanding of manufacturing processes and production operations

Ability to evaluate fixtures, equipment, and hand tools used in manufacturing

Knowledge of time studies and manufacturing efficiency

Understanding of ergonomics and workplace safety principles

Problem-solving and analytical skills

Communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams

Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
