Job Description:
Assisting warehouse manager with daily operation such as loading route vehicles, cleaning, inventory, general organizing.
Key Responsibilities
Execution
- Assist with loading trucks with Company products in compliance with Distribution Company standards.
- Confirm that trucks are loaded accurately according to the Account Manager’s requests.
- Ensure products are rotated on trucks and in the warehouse according to expiration dates.
- Properly clean and repackage products in accordance with Company standards.
- Appropriately dispose of damaged and/or out-of-code (OOC) products after approval from the Operations Manager.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness by disposing of trash nightly, sweeping floors daily, and using the floor scrubber periodically.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly use hands to handle, finger, or feel objects; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
- Frequently required to walk and sit.
- Occasionally required to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds as needed.
- Possess specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Work around moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions.
- Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Current driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Basic mathematical skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
