As a Cook at The Spires, you’ll play a vital role in our kitchen, ensuring that every meal is prepared with care and attention to detail. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing Meals: Cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner using standardized recipes to maintain consistency and quality.
• Special Diets: Create modified meals for individuals with specific medical needs, allergies, or chewing difficulties.
• Quality Assurance: Check food temperatures, portion sizes, and taste before serving to ensure every dish meets our high standards.
• Sanitation: Keep kitchen surfaces clean, store food safely, and maintain organized refrigerators.
• Compliance: Follow health department regulations and adhere to HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) food safety guidelines.

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

• At least 1 year of experience in a kitchen or cooking role.
• A strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow standardized recipes.
• A commitment to providing high-quality meals and accommodating special dietary needs.
