LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a growing organization. Our client is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to provide temporary support to the Human Resources team. This role will be responsible for handling a variety of HR functions, including employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, recruiting support, compliance, and HR administrative tasks.The ideal candidate will be a hands-on HR professional who can work independently, maintain confidentiality, and support employees and leadership in a fast-paced environment. Position Type: Temporary (3-6 Months, with potential extension)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, Standard Business Hours
Pay Rate:$28-$35/hour (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities - Serve as a point of contact for employee HR-related questions and concerns.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities, including new hire paperwork and orientation.
- Support recruitment efforts by scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, and assisting hiring managers throughout the hiring process.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment activities, and employee benefit inquiries.
- Support performance management processes, employee engagement initiatives, and employee relations matters.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
- Assist with policy interpretation and enforcement.
- Prepare HR reports and track key employee data using HRIS and Microsoft Excel.
- Coordinate leave of absence and accommodation documentation.
- Support payroll processing by ensuring employee information is accurate and up to date.
- Assist with audits, compliance projects, and other HR initiatives as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of Human Resources experience in a Generalist or similar HR role.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and employee relations.
- Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, benefits, and HR compliance activities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Experience working with HRIS systems and payroll platforms preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
