Operations Manager

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead day-to-day performance across manufacturing and distribution activities in Versailles, Missouri. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the sales, manufacturing, safety, and shipping operations for our facility. We specialize in producing metal panels and trim, wood trusses and poles, and transportation of building materials. The ideal candidate will be responsible for making sound decisions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing insightful feedback to support business decisions. This role requires a strong understanding of sales and manufacturing processes, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with company management, employees, and customers.

• Ensure accurate regulatory reporting and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Provide insights into business performance.
• Collaborate with management to develop and improve processes and procedures.
• Provide guidance and support for various projects.
• Manages inside sales force and ensures goals are met. Works closely with the General Manager to monitor sales and profit goals and ensure they are on target.
• Work with other managers to improve processes and address issues as they arise. Would work directly with Sales Management, Dispatch Management, HR, Finance Manager, and Production Managers.
• Help with lean production goals to eliminate waste and be more efficient.
