Line Cook/Food Prep

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. - 1-2 years of experience as a line cook or prep cook in a restaurant environment

- Knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety principles

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

- Good communication and teamwork skills

- Physical stamina to stand for long periods

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

- Comply with all health department regulations

Duties:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping produce
- Assist in cooking and presenting dishes according to the restaurant's recipes and standards
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely and high-quality food production
- Follow proper food handling procedures and sanitation guidelines
- Adhere to dietary restrictions and special requests as needed

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
- Familiarity with working in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Certification from a culinary school or relevant training is a plus
