Schedule: Full-Time | Daytime Hours | 10-Hour Shifts | 4 Days per Week
Every Other Weekend Availability Required

About the Role

Beth Anne Place Supportive Living is seeking a dependable and experienced Cook to join our culinary team.

In this role, you will prepare nutritious, flavorful meals while helping create a positive dining experience for our residents. We’re looking for someone who enjoys cooking, works well with a team, and takes pride in food quality, safety, sanitation, and consistency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals according to established menus, recipes, and dietary guidelines

  • Ensure meals are prepared and served safely, consistently, and on time

  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures

  • Accommodate resident dietary needs and special meal requirements as directed

  • Properly store, label, and rotate food

  • Assist with kitchen inventory, food storage, and restocking supplies

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment

  • Collaborate with dietary team members to provide an enjoyable resident dining experience

  • Communicate resident preferences, concerns, and dietary needs appropriately

  • Assist with meal preparation for special events and community celebrations as needed

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Previous cooking or food preparation experience

  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

  • Ability to follow recipes, menus, and dietary guidelines

  • Strong organization and time-management skills

  • Ability to work 10-hour daytime shifts, four days per week

  • Every other weekend availability is required

Previous experience in senior living, assisted living, supportive living, long-term care, healthcare, or high-volume food service is preferred but not required.

Experience preparing meals for large groups and familiarity with special diets or dietary restrictions is also a plus.
