JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Splicer/Manufacturing Associate, you'll be responsible for helping produce high-quality engineered materials used in advanced technology applications. The role involves:
Setting up and operating manufacturing equipment
Measuring and inspecting products to ensure quality standards are met
Working with materials through different stages of production, including splicing, trimming, molding, and extrusion
Performing basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
Completing production documentation and reports
Collaborating with quality, engineering, and logistics teams
Working in a LEAN manufacturing environment focused on continuous improvement and teamwork
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, pays attention to detail, and likes working in a team-oriented manufacturing setting. Prior manufacturing experience is helpful but not extensive, making it a strong opportunity for entry-level candidates or individuals looking to expand their manufacturing skills.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM
GED or High School Diploma required.
0-2+ years of manufacturing experience required.
Good manual dexterity and hand to eye coordination a plus.
Ability to read work orders and blueprints a plus.
Ability to work autonomously and within a team to meet time sensitive deadlines.
Ability to perform basic math, reading, writing such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and use of computers with Microsoft Office.
Must demonstrate effective understanding and use of verbal and written English communication skills.
Ability to stand for long durations up to 8 hours, and lift and or move up to 40 lbs.
Comfortable working daily around hazardous chemicals.
