Position Summary:

The Business Development and ProviderRelations Representativeisenergetic, driven, and articulate. In this hybrid role, you will act as the frontline ambassador for White-Wilson across our expanding local healthcare community.

This position has two main goals:
1.Strategic Business Development: Conduct proactive cold outreach to independent clinics, group practices, and healthcare decision-makers to open doors for leadership introductions, strategic partnerships, and practice acquisition conversations.
2. Provider Relations & Referral Liaison: Introduce White-Wilson’s extensive multispecialty, primary care, and immediate care capabilities to community providers, fostering collaborative clinical relationships and streamlining patient referral pathways.

Essential Responsibilities:

Cold Outreach & Strategic Growth (Business Development)

  • Conduct high-volume, professional outreach (in-person visits, phone calls, targeted email campaigns, and networking) to independent medical practices and clinic operators across the region.
  • Identify key decision-makers (practice owners, managing physicians, and practice administrators) and secure introductory meetings for White-Wilson executive leadership.
  • Build and manage a structured pipeline of partnership and potential acquisition prospects, tracking stages from initial touchpoint through to executive introduction.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of practice profiles, ownership structures, and outreach history in the CRM / tracking platform.

Provider Relations & Community Engagement (Physician Liaison)

  • Serve as the visible face of White-Wilson Medical Center to independent physician practices and community health organizations.
  • Educate local clinicians and office managers on White-Wilson’s full scope of primary, immediate, and specialty care services to drive clinical collaboration and referral capture.
  • Routinely drop by referring clinics with clinical collaterals, provider directories, and educational materials to keep White-Wilson top of mind.
  • Identify referral friction points or service gaps and communicate feedback promptly to internal leadership to improve provider-to-provider experiences.
  • Represent White-Wilson at regional healthcare networking events, medical society meetings, and local community health functions.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical sales/outreach experience).
  • Experience: 0–2 years of experience in sales, business development, outbound marketing, or healthcare customer service. (Relevant internships or high-volume cold outreach experience strongly valued).
  • Communication Skills: Polished verbal, written, and in-person communication skills. Must be comfortable and confident speaking directly with physicians, office managers, and practice owners.
  • Resilience & Drive: A proactive hunter mentality with a high tolerance for rejection, persistence in follow-up, and strong consultative relationship-building instincts.
  • Organization: Exceptional time management skills, disciplined pipeline management, and keen attention to detail.
  • Mobility: Must hold a valid driver’s license, have reliable transportation, and be willing to travel locally across the regional market on a regular basis.
