Chemical Packaging Operator

Description:

Mega Force Staffing is now hiring for chemical packagers with at least 1 year forklift experience in the Gastonia, NC area.

This is an opportunity to put your forklift skills to work in a full-time manufacturing environment while building specialized experience in chemical production and material handling.

The candidate is getting experience that can potentially open doors to higher-level manufacturing, production, warehouse, and material-handling positions.

• package Urethane chemical product

• use a torque gun to tighten caps

• label containers

• material handling, using a sit-down forklift

• operate sit down forklift - EE must have 6 mon-1 year recent exp.

• unload empty drums by hand from trailers

• move empty drums to waste area with forklift

• take packaged drums to staging area

• Housekeeping

• wear long sleeves, long pants, chemical smock, steel toe shoes, safety goggles, hard hat, protective face shield while packaging

• **12 hr shifts, 2nd and 3rd shifts available

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required

• Birth Certificate required

• 1 yr forklift experience

• have prior experience working around chemicals

• applicants must be willing to submit to pre-employment testing and screening
