About the Role

We’re looking for a dependable, hands-on Shop Aide to keep our production floor running smoothly. This is a support role that keeps our machine operators focused on their machines you’ll make sure materials are staged, coolant is topped off, and the shop stays organized and on schedule. It’s a great fit for someone who takes pride in staying a step ahead, enjoys steady physical work, and wants to grow into more skilled responsibilities over time.

What You’ll Do

• Keep machines supplied throughout the day stage crates of blank material at each station and top off coolant on its regular cycle so operators never run short mid-shift.

• Track heat numbers on staged stock to maintain material traceability.

• Start each morning by emptying scrap chip barrels and checking the saws so operators can run uninterrupted.

• Serve as the primary saw operator from 2:00–3:00 PM each day cutting and staging stock, then setting the saws up to run unattended overnight. (Also covers most Fridays, when machine operators are typically out.)

• Receive incoming pallets and bar stock during peak delivery hours.

• Pack finished parts for shipment during downtime, and help prepare and load customer shipments on Tuesdays and Thursdays (around 1–2 PM).

Room to Grow

Once the daily routine is running smoothly, there’s real opportunity to take on higher-value work organizing tooling and shadow boards, assisting with machine setups, supporting lean-process and inventory improvements, and helping keep shop and storage areas clean and well organized.

What We’re Looking For

• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with physical, on-your-feet work

• Able to lift and move materials, crates, and bar stock safely (preferably up to 70lbs)

• Detail-oriented especially with material tracking and staging

• A team player who’s willing to learn and pitch in wherever needed

• Prior shop, warehouse, or manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required we’re happy to train the right person
