Die Cutting Assistant Operator - 3rd Shift

Diamond Packaging, a global leader specializing in developing innovative and sustainable packaging solutions, is currently recruiting for a full time Die Cutting Operator Assistant in to join our team.

Primary responsibility is to assist in the set-up of job according to job ticket instruction and approved structure. Reviews job tickets for specifications, make-ready time, run speed, die information, quantity, ship date and any special instructions. Assist in the running of equipment at the required speeds while maintaining quality, waste and safety standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have high school diploma, G.E.D, or equivalent.
• Must have basic computer skills – computer inputs.
• Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 40lbs.
• Must be able to stand for a continuous 8 hour period.
• Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, job tickets, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
• Must be able to perform basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Must be able to maintain good attendance.
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
