Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented accounting support team member to join a team in Georgia. This Long-term Contract position focuses on day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, accurate recordkeeping, and responsive support for customers and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling clerical accounting tasks, investigating discrepancies, and helping maintain organized financial documentation.
Responsibilities:
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and timely follow-through.
• Match payments, invoices, and purchase order details to confirm records are complete and correct.
• Prepare bank deposits, post routine financial entries, and support the upkeep of accounting records.
• Reconcile account activity and assist with bank reconciliations to identify and resolve variances.
• Respond to customer and stakeholder questions regarding billing, payments, and account issues.
• Investigate transaction discrepancies, research complaints, and help resolve routine financial problems.
• Verify financial data through data entry, document review, and regular record checks.
• Support reporting and general office administration related to accounting and billing functions.• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and basic accounting procedures.
• Experience with data entry, invoice handling, payment processing, and billing support.
• Ability to perform bank reconciliations, verify records, and complete routine calculations accurately.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to respond professionally to inquiries and complaints.
• Proficiency in clerical office tasks, documentation, and general administrative support.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
