Off-Shift Machine Operator

Schedule:Monday–Thursday, 7:00 PM–5:00 AM
Pay:$27.00–$35.00 per hour, based on experience

  • Monday–Thursday
  • 7:00 PM–5:00 AM
  • Four 10-hour shifts
  • Consistent 3-day weekend every week

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate production machinery safely and efficiently while maintaining quality and productivity standards.
  • Performtool changeoversand make adjustments as necessary to keep machines running efficiently.
  • Completefirst-part runsand verify parts meet print and quality specifications before beginning production.
  • Perform machine setup and prepare equipment for production runs.
  • Monitor machines during operation and identify issues or abnormalities.
  • Make basic machine adjustments to maintain part quality and production requirements.
  • Use precision measuring equipment to inspect parts and verify dimensions.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and manufacturing specifications.
  • Troubleshoot basic mechanical and machine-related issues.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and keep the work area clean and organized.
  • Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures.
  • Work independently while communicating effectively with the production and maintenance teams.
  • Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.


Preferred Experience

Experience operatingscrew machinesstrongly preferred.

  • Experience inbolt making, fastener manufacturing, or similar high-volume machiningis a significant plus.
  • Experience with CNC or other production machinery.
  • Hands-on experience withtool changeovers and machine setups.
  • Experience running first parts and making machine adjustments.
  • Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Manufacturing or machining experience preferred.
