- Four 10-hour shifts
- Consistent 3-day weekend every week
Key Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery safely and efficiently while maintaining quality and productivity standards.
- Performtool changeoversand make adjustments as necessary to keep machines running efficiently.
- Completefirst-part runsand verify parts meet print and quality specifications before beginning production.
- Perform machine setup and prepare equipment for production runs.
- Monitor machines during operation and identify issues or abnormalities.
- Make basic machine adjustments to maintain part quality and production requirements.
- Use precision measuring equipment to inspect parts and verify dimensions.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and manufacturing specifications.
- Troubleshoot basic mechanical and machine-related issues.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and keep the work area clean and organized.
- Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures.
- Work independently while communicating effectively with the production and maintenance teams.
- Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
Preferred Experience
Experience operatingscrew machinesstrongly preferred.
- Experience inbolt making, fastener manufacturing, or similar high-volume machiningis a significant plus.
- Experience with CNC or other production machinery.
- Hands-on experience withtool changeovers and machine setups.
- Experience running first parts and making machine adjustments.
- Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Manufacturing or machining experience preferred.
