Application Engineer

Job Description:

• Act as the first line of customer technical support. Conduct initial troubleshooting, gather critical customer application parameters, and diagnose integration issues.
• Initiate and manage the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process, coordinating the return of customer equipment for in-house repair, calibration, and re-testing.
• Provide essential technical documentation to customers, including User Manuals, Interface Control Drawings (ICDs), Bi-Directional Amplifier (BDA) integration guides, 3D CAD models, and RF test data.
• Perform Design Characterization Testing (DCT) on Triad amplifier and THPR product line using inhouse built automated test equipment.
• Maintain and update Amplifier and THPR High Power Radio specifications within Salesforce based on Design Verification Testing (DVT) and Design Characterization Testing (DCT) results.
• Utilize Salesforce/Conga Composer to author, format, and publish accurate datasheets for RF amplifiers and Triad High-Power Radios (THPR).

Requirements:

• BS in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience or strong familiarity with RF systems, amplifiers, and related test and measurement practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for creating and explaining technical documentation.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Brunswick, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $40.87 - $44.23/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
