Machinist

The Machinist plays an independent role in the manufacturing process, responsible for operating machines, inspecting quality, setting up tools, and interpreting blueprints.

While we have CNC machines, the machinist needs to be capable of machining manually complicated parts. Lathe and Vertical Milling. Must have! Do not apply if you don't have this experience.

Reporting directly to the Production Manager, this position works primarily on a single-shift schedule and requires availability to be on call when needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate machining equipment to produce precision parts
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure parts meet specifications
• Set up tools and machines according to job requirements
• Interpret and follow blueprints accurately
• Maintain equipment and troubleshoot basic machine issues
• Adhere to safety standards and company policies

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience in machining

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with CNC machining
• Proficient in blueprint reading
• Knowledge of precision measurement and metrology
• Strong attention to detail
• Manual machining skills
