Overnight Machine Operator

Job Title: Overnight Machine OperatorLocation: Lakewood, New JerseyType: Contract To HireCompensation: $20.00Work Model: Onsite – onsiteHours: Monday - Thursday, overnight 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (scheduled for 4 days, 48 hours per week) + occasional mandatory Friday (when scheduled)

Overnight Machine Operator Responsibilities:

• Operate production machinery and equipment used to produce industrial textile material such as facings, liners, acoustic padding, vibration reduction material (rubber) and other industrial coatings.
• Prepare materials for production, load and unload materials throughout the process (rubber or putty-like raw material)
• Set-up and clean machines regularly following safety protocols
• Review processes and follow SOP instructions for quality assurance
• Wear appropriate PPE and follow safety procedures at all times

Overnight Machine Operator Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but may be waived in lieu of direct work experience.
• At least 1 year experience using a sit down forklift
• At least 6 months experience operating production machinery or production equipment
• Must be available to work overnight, 12 hour shifts 5 days per week.
• Reliable and attentive to safety protocols
