Target Hourly:$21.00-23.00
Job Summary:Performs product and process inspections throughout the manufacturing facility to ensure products meet established quality standards and specifications. This role conducts in-process and final inspections, documents defects and nonconformances, and works with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
Job Duties:
- Inspect large, complex assemblies, sub-assemblies, and finished products for conformance to specifications
- Perform in-process inspections and product audits throughout manufacturing and record defect data
- Identify, document, and process nonconforming materials
- Read and interpret drawings, prints, work instructions, and other technical documentation
- Use measuring and test equipment to verify product dimensions and quality requirements
- Maintain inspection records, quality documentation, and document change controls
- Support root cause analysis and problem-solving related to manufacturing quality issues
- Perform weld inspections and support weld monitoring and sampling activities
- Assist with PPAP/FAI documentation, calibration activities, and development of work instructions and procedures
- Support customer, third party, and special project inspections as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous quality inspection experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as welding, machining, assembly, and receiving inspection
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and assembly instructions
- Experience using inspection and measurement equipment such as calipers and tape measures
- Experience with APQP, PPAP, and/or FAI processes
- Familiarity with gauge calibration and MSA
- Strong attention to detail, documentation, and problem-solving skills
