Scale Operator - Warehouse Operations

Fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated individual who likes a fast-paced variety. Responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service. Organizing, processing, staging, loading trucks, and coordinating shipments with the dispatcher. Experience operating construction-type equipment, including forklift, skid steer, end loader, and excavator, is a plus but not required. $35,000 - $45,000 yearly

Duties:

• Weighing and sorting metal on the scale

• Identifying and grading different metals

• Sorting ferrous metals (steel, cast iron, etc.)

• Sorting non-ferrous metals (copper, brass, aluminum, stainless, etc.)

• Directing material into the correct bins

• Maintaining accurate weights and material classifications

• Basic computer skills needed

• Customer service
