Role Overview

We are seeking Assembler I candidates to join our manufacturing team in Dexter, Michigan. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on manufacturing and production experience.

The Assembler I will perform a variety of repetitive and non-repetitive assembly activities involving electronic and/or mechanical components and subassemblies. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a production environment, and able to follow established instructions and quality standards.

No prior experience is required. Training will be provided on established procedures and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform assembly of electronic and mechanical components, modules, boards, panels, frames, cables, and other subassemblies.
• Follow visual aids, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets, layouts, and written or verbal work instructions.
• Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, jigs, saws, and related equipment.
• Perform continuity checks and basic testing on work-in-process and completed assemblies.
• Conduct quality inspections in accordance with established specifications and procedures.
• Disassemble, modify, rework, and reassemble components or prototype assemblies as required.
• Set up and operate automatic or semi-automatic machinery and production equipment when assigned.
• Monitor equipment and promptly report malfunctions, abnormalities, or production issues.
• Maintain accurate production records and follow established standard operating procedures.
• Support manufacturing, processing, packaging, inventory, shipping, receiving, or other production-related activities as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and production requirements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of production or manufacturing procedures is preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work effectively in a repetitive production environment.
• Comfortable using basic hand or power tools, or willing to learn.
