Starting Annual Salary DOE: $120,000 - $124,000

Who we are:We're a successful company that has been around for over 70 years, so we're a very stable work environment. We recycle used cooking oil to sell as a feedstock for renewable fuels.

Our Miami, FL Depot is looking for a General Manager to join our team and help drive success. The General Manager will lead the team to plan and oversee the daily operations of the organization to ensure goals and objectives are achieved, and customers are serviced in a timely fashion. This position will be required to be onsite Monday through Friday.Mahoney Environmental is a leading provider of grease management solutions for the restaurant industry, specializing in used cooking oil recycling. With nationwide service, Mahoney seamlessly services food service establishments across the country, offering efficient and eco-friendly disposal options for their used cooking oil.

What You Will Do:

  • Leadteam to planand organizedaily activities related to production and operations.
  • Measureproductivity by analyzing performance data, financial data, and activity reports.
  • Coordinatewith other support departments such as human resources, finance, and logistics to ensure successful production operations.
  • Workclosely with Operations to ensure continuity in processes and production.
  • Overseethe shipping and receiving functions.
  • Determinelabor needs to meet production goals.
  • Assistwith budget preparation for operations unit.
  • Coordinatewith Sales to price Liquid Recycle and Industrial Trap.
  • Coordinatewith marketing and sales departments to determine timing of products to be sold and shipped.
  • Ensureproper safety protocols are being followed.
  • Performother related duties as required.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent managerial and supervisory skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of operations and production management.
  • Ability to interpret financial data as needed to set production goals.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Knowledge of Samsara ELD and Oracle ERP/financial system preferred.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Five – seven years of related experience required.
  • Valid US Driver's License with clean driving record preferred.
  • Commercial Driver's License holder Class A or B with at least 3 years of commercial preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to access and navigate the production facility.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time.
