About the Role: Michelle Hayes Thomas Insurance Agency is looking for a motivated and personable Insurance Sales Agent to join our growing team in Memphis, TN. This is an exciting opportunity to build a rewarding career helping clients protect what matters most while earning competitive commissions in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities:- Prospect and generate new client leads through networking, referrals, and outbound outreach
- Consult with clients to assess insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options
- Sell and service personal and/or commercial insurance policies
- Build and maintain strong long-term client relationships to drive retention and renewals
- Process policy applications, endorsements, and changes accurately and efficiently
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets and performance goals
- Stay current on insurance products, industry trends, and state regulations
Requirements:- Active Tennessee Property & Casualty license and Life license is a bonus
- Prior experience in insurance sales, financial services, or a related field preferred
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet sales goals
- Proficiency with CRM software and basic computer applications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree a plus
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
