LocationRutherford, NJ; This position will follow a hybrid work-from-home/office model with at least three days in the office weeklyRole SummaryThis position is responsible for the successful execution of the Vessel Closeout (VCO) process located in Rutherford, NJ. The specialist will efficiently reconcile port pairs with terminals to ensure that intended containers are loaded onto vessels with all necessary export requirements. Additionally, the role provides expertise on non-standard vessel closeout issues to both internal and external parties, researches and responds to routine and non-routine customer inquiries, and recommends solutions for specialized challenges. Responsibilities also include tracking containers within rail websites to facilitate advancing, rolling, and reducing shipments, and submitting reports to US Customs.
