Position
We are seeking a family law associate attorney who can work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team. The attorney will meet directly with clients, manage a personal caseload, and be responsible for handling assigned files from intake through resolution.
Responsibilities
Manage a caseload involving dissolution, decision making allocation, parenting time, child support, maintenance, and asset division
Meet with clients and provide ongoing case updates
Draft pleadings, motions, agreements, and correspondence
Communicate with opposing counsel and other professionals
Appear in court and participate in hearings and other proceedings
Collaborate with attorneys and staff
Qualifications
Licensed to practice law in Illinois
Prior family law experience required
Ability to manage files independently
Strong communication, organization, writing, and case-management skills
Professional, detail-oriented, and team-focused
