We have an immediate opening for a Full-Time Entry-Level Carpenter Assistant.
The ideal candidate should have Technical School training background and 1-2 year experience in the construction industry.
Candidate must have reliable transportation. Travel within most South Shore towns.
Forty hours of work/week required. 1.5X overtime pay is available.
Candidate will assist and be supervised by the Builder/owner of the company.
Responsibilities include:
demolition/clean up, window installation, rough framing, finished carpentry, drywall, painting, some landscaping, patio work, deck building etc.
Requirements: Ability to operate tools, machines, and other equipment.
Compliance with local building codes, and health and safety regulations.
Knowledge of basic mathematics.
Must be physically fit, have good hand-eye coordination, have the ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and lift heavy objects.
Hourly/weekly rate commensurate with experience. Must pass a background check.
