Maintenance Tech

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Tech to join our team in the Agriculture industry. As a Maintenance Tech, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities. Your main goal will be to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. You will work closely with other members of the maintenance team to troubleshoot and repair equipment, as well as perform preventative maintenance tasks. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be crucial to your success in this role.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Excellent problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in a related field
• Experience with welding and fabrication
• Experience with electrical systems and controls
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Experience with PLC programming

Responsibilities:

• Performing routine maintenance on equipment and facilities
• Troubleshooting and repairing equipment
• Performing preventative maintenance tasks
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities
• Collaborating with other members of the maintenance team to ensure smooth operation of equipment and facilities

Skills:

As a Maintenance Tech, you will use your strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and repair equipment. You will also use your ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics to perform routine maintenance tasks. Your experience with welding and fabrication, electrical systems and controls, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and PLC programming will be beneficial in this role. Additionally, your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be crucial to your success in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.
