Assembly Worker

Location:Shippensburg, PA
Shift:1st Shift
Pay:$18.00/hour

We are seeking a skilled and detail-orientedAssembly Workerto assemble construction equipment, machine sections, and sub-assemblies according to specifications and established quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble complete machines and sub-assemblies using drawings, work instructions, BOMs, material lists, and specifications.
  • Interpret technical drawings to identify material requirements and determine efficient assembly sequences.
  • Fit, adjust, and align components including gears, shafts, keys, bearings, and hydraulic systems.
  • Conduct running and performance tests and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, ignition, and control-system issues.
  • Identify product defects, faulty materials, and unusual conditions and report them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Dismantle, clean, and inspect equipment as needed following testing.
  • Complete required documentation related to defects and quality issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with5S standards.
  • Follow all company policies, quality standards, safety procedures, and work instructions.
  • Work closely with the Manager and Team Leader to complete daily assignments and support team goals.
Qualifications
  • Mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Strong commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
